The Minister of the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto represented Italy at the United Nations Water Conference 2023, organized in New York from March 22 to 24, 2023. On the global commitment to protect the water resource, the Minister has intervened during the plenary assembly and in a "side-event" organized in collaboration with UNESCO, dedicated to partnerships and cooperation in the water field. Minister Pichetto also held bilateral meetings with various representatives of other countries on common environmental challenges.
